It is with great excitement that I’m presenting my latest curatorial project: Art Days Forever, the estate of two Latvian artists, photographer Zenta Dzividzinska (1944-2011) and painter Juris Tifentals (1943-2001).
Today, we’re launching its website, www.artdays.net, which is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the legacy of both artists. It is designed as an open archive documenting their lives and careers, their works and lifestyle, and freely available to researchers, curators, collectors, and anybody interested.
Because of the very sad state of the artists’ archive, the website is a work in progress. New material will be added on a regular basis as it will be recovered from the two storage locations in Latvia where it is currently stored.
