I'm co-organizing a graduate student conference "Revolution in the Margins, 1917-2017: Modern and Contemporary Art from Eastern, Central, and South Eastern Europe" that takes place on Friday, October 13, 2017, from 9:30am to 7:00pm in the Skylight Room (9100) at The Graduate Center, City University of New York (365 Fifth Avenue, New York).
The keynote speaker is Klara Kemp-Welch (The Courtauld Institute of Art, London).
The conference is co-organized by Patricia Manos (Harvard University), Rachel Wetzler, Alise Tifentale, and Patryk Tomaszewski (The Graduate Center, CUNY) with faculty supervisors Katherine Carl and Romy Golan.
